By family tradition the Nobile family hands on from father to son the passion for perfumes and Italian handicraft. The Nobile 1942’s essences, in fact, are produced with totally craftsmanlike procedures that require a long time in maceration and distillation, with the purpose of obtaining the unique fragrances that up till now distinguish the brand; an excellence in the art of scents born from the passion of an Italian family.

In 1942 Umberto Nobile decided to start a new company activity in the heart of Rome. The grandsons Umberto, Massimo and Patrizio, in 1987 produced a gloves collection made in lamb leather with silk or cashmere linings. The name of the brand “Pontevecchio” evoked the spirit of Florence, a city rich of artistic tradition. The collection had a great success, but the production was suspended to return at the world of cosmetics and perfumery. Today the Nobile family continues with success her original activity. Massimo and his wife Stefania have established the brand Nobile 1942, composing a new male scent named “Pontevecchio”, a perfume that celebrates the family tradition. Afterwards other exclusive scents have born, joint by a touching olfactory journey among the historical and craftsmanlike peculiarities of the Italian lands. The feminine perfume “Pontevecchio W”, bold but gentle, with iridescent olfactory tonalities, in which clashing notes alternate each other giving rise to numerous emotions. “Anonimo Veneziano”, dedicated to the splendor of Venice: essence of the mysterious femininity, seductive and ineffable. Then “Terra dei Vespiri e degli Aranci”, which takes inspiration by the ancient Reign of Sicily like as the “Vespriesperdati”, masculine and feminine perfumes with citruses and heady notes. “Acqua Nobile” and “Lavanda Nobile” are the monothematic and sophisticated that best represent the family spirit.
