Futurism is an art movement that originated in Italy in the early 20th century as a celebration of all that represents the technological triumph of humanity over nature. And like a passion, futurism affected every art, including paintings, sculpture, ceramics, graphic design, interior design, theatre, film, fashion, textiles, and music.

Mystery of Nature
Born in Belgium in 1898 Ren Magritte, the illustrious Surrealist developed some signature techniques early in his career. He joined the Parisian Surrealists in 1927 in Paris, thus starting an in-depth search in pictorial language which led to a wealth of paintings.
